Menstrual Monthly Cycle

The menstrual cycle in girls is a natural process that usually begins between the ages of 11 and 14. However, it may vary from girl to girl depending on the health of her body. This period is known as menarche. It is influenced by many factors, including genetics, nutrition, and overall health. The onset of menstruation in girls is considered a symbol of puberty and the ability to become pregnant. This is a normal process that may start earlier or later in one girl than in another.

Generally, the process of menstrual cycle in girls lasts for 28 days. Which may vary from one girl to another. Which involves a series of hormonal changes driven by the pituitary gland of the girl’s brain and ovaries.

In girls this cycle begins with menstruation, where the uterus sheds its lining if fertilization does not occur. This phase continues for about 3 to 7 days. After menstruation, the body prepares itself for possible pregnancy. During ovulation, around the 14th day from the beginning of the cycle, the ovaries release an egg.

If the egg is not fertilized by sperm after ovulation, hormone levels drop, causing the uterine lining to break down. As a result, the process of menstruation starts again. And if the fertilization process is complete, then as a result the fertilized egg gets implanted in the lining of the uterus, and the process of pregnancy begins.

Throughout this cycle, hormones such as estrogen and progesterone fluctuate. Which affects various physiological functions including the girl’s mood, energy level and libido. The menstrual cycle in girls can be affected by factors such as stress, diet and exercise.

How your fertile days are calculated ?

Using a pregnancy calculator, you can estimate the likely day of your next ovulation, which is likely to be around the 14th day from the first day of your period. (Ovulation occurs around the midpoint of the menstrual cycle, which is usually the 14th day in a 28-day cycle.) However, this time can vary from girl to girl due to the length of the menstrual cycle period or hormonal fluctuations. May vary.

Your fertile period usually occurs between the 6th and 8th day after your menstrual cycle ends. But keep in mind that your chances of getting pregnant are highest during the 7th day of this time frame.

You can use methods like basal body temperature monitoring, cervical mucus testing or ovulation predictor kits to identify your fertile days and find out your chances of getting pregnant.
